I'm a once and future resident, eh? A Yank by birth, true, but the true north strong and free's much more conducive to my favourite pursuits. As for my qualifications, I know the capital's not Toronto, how to properly spell words such as centre and colour, and how to really pronounce "schedule" and the letter "z". My favorite holiday spot is cottage country, and I've built a backyard rink all by myself. I even know from fiddleheads (nothin' to do with music, eh), curling (not what you do to your hair), Grits (not a corn-based porridge), and Rhinos (not found only in Africa anymore).
So what, I must ask myself, is the twisted reason for my current exile in Pennsylvania? Building good karma through homesickness, I imagine.
