Let's see. Canada is the source of real maple syrup (OK, so are the woods behind my house! But Canada's is better than ours); Greg Moore (still love ya babe); Paul Brandt (woo hoo!!); the Barenaked Ladies (I love that One Week song); the Calgary Stampede (oooh... Cowboys??); Shania Twain (that might not be such a great thing, on second thought); cute lil accents (eh?); funny ways of spelling things (this is an honour!); my car (ok, so I have a Subaru japanese rice rocket, but it was put together in Ontario); the Molson Indy CART races (Toronto and Vancouver, my favorite events on the schedule); good beer (not that I'd know anything about that, of course not); Toronto (home of 15 people I've met on the internet, 9 of whom are guys named Chris); the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show (I love Dudley Do-Right); Brendan Fraser (I loved him in Dudley Do-Right); Colin on Who's Line Is It Anyway; many other funny comedians (none of whom I can remember the names of right now); a flag that is easy to draw (unlike the NYS flag); the metric system (which I had to learn for Chemistry class anyway, might as well put it to use); and, er, many other things, eh?
Top reasons I am becoming an Honourary Canadian:
1. See above.
2. My mother has told me several times that, given the combination of my political views, my outlook on life, and my adoration of all things Canadian (except for Jacques Villeneuve), I was MEANT to be Canadian, and somewhere up North is a Canadian kid who was MEANT to be American...we were somehow born in the wrong places...
3. Um, je parle un peut du francais...?
4. My best friend and I are going to visit next summer on a road trip, and we don't want people being mad at us for being American.
5. I told some Scottish guy I was Canadian once, because he was cute and had a problem with Americans...and I don't want to have lied to him...
Now that I am one, think I can get me some Canadian male sweetness?

The truth must be told!! And as you are now Honourary Canadians I feel that it is my duty to inform you. This is not a secret but anybody who is not Canadian will forget thsi as soon as you say it - nobody knows why, it just is. They did a tour into the States a while ago and almost nobody showed up... I think I deserve to be an honourary Canadian. I'm a huge racing fan, my favorite drivers are Jacques Villeneuve, Lee Bentham, or any other Canadian driver. My all time favorite driver was Greg Moore. I cried the day he lost his life. Hopefully this year Paul Tracy can bring the championship back to Canada

What you really need is an Ireland citizenship page.
Canada is nice but it's too cold. Missouri has better weather.
Thank goodness I only visit Canada in June or July.
